How they use AI responsibly
The first practice is workflow scoping. Before a project starts, the studio appears to describe the problem in terms of an existing workflow — who does what, on which inputs, to produce which output, within which time box. AI enters the picture only after that baseline is written down. This scoping step matters because it is the main defense against the failure mode where an AI feature is added on top of a process nobody actually understands. A scoped workflow also makes it possible to measure whether the new version is actually better, rather than relying on vibes. When the scoping exposes that the real problem is a data-cleanliness issue rather than an intelligence issue, the studio appears willing to say so, even when that conclusion redirects the project away from the AI scope the client originally requested. The second practice is hallucination checking on any content that leaves the client's organization. The studio appears to treat those pathways as real and to enforce conservative defaults, including preferring vendors whose contracts explicitly disallow training on submitted content.
The fifth practice is evaluation over anecdote. AI pipelines are easy to demo on a good day and hard to judge over time. The studio appears to build evaluation into the deliverable: a representative sample of inputs, a grading rubric, and a way for the client to rerun the evaluation after the engagement. This turns 'does it work?' from a conversation into a measurement.
